2018 NADRC:
Evaluating Dementia Services and Supports: Instrument Resource List

The NADRC developed the Evaluating Dementia Services and Supports: Instrument Resource List as a resource for dementia service providers, to help them identify appropriate and well-researched measures in support of their program evaluation plans. Choosing existing measures saves time and lends credibility to evaluation findings. The use of standard measures also allows for greater comparability of results between projects. Almost all evaluation instruments included in the resource list can be accessed online. Links are provided within the resource list; simply click on the name of the instrument within the table. The evaluation instrument resource list includes 77 validated instruments covering domains such as caregiver burden, depression, social support, dementia knowledge, self-efficacy, impact of problem behaviors, health status, cognitive function and risk/safety.
